Direct restorations in the anterior sectors are true challenges for the Restorative Dentist. The biggest issue is always the colour. Finding the right balance between opacity and translucency, hiding a margin, and characterizing the incisal third are just a few reasons why, over the years, dentists have performed polychromatic layering techniques. But…do we really need to use so many shades?

Kulzer has launched a composite system with just four shades that can even be applied monochromatically in the anterior. Thanks to the two available consistencies, packable and flowable, it is now possible to manage small and large restorations in the aesthetic zone while minimizing the risk of getting the colour wrong.
