Avik Jonathan Dandapat

Dr Avik Jonathan Dandapat qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2001 and has focused on implant dentistry since 2002. Following completion of his Master’s degree and postgraduate implant training, he has worked exclusively in implant dentistry for over two decades, placing in excess of 8,000 dental implants.

He is the Clinical Academic Lead for the Implant Diploma programme, which he has delivered since 2016, and has trained numerous dentists in both surgical and restorative implant workflows. His clinical approach centres on comprehensive treatment planning, digital integration, and team-based delivery of complex cases.

Dr Dandapat is a Key Opinion Leader for Sweden & Martina and Megagen implant systems and leads a multi-site implant-focused dental group across England and Scotland.

Outside of dentistry, he is a father of three daughters and has a strong interest in travel and motor racing.
