Norihito Ishitani

Dr. Norihito Ishitani is a Japanese pediatric dentist specializing in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. He is the director of Ishitani Clinic of Pedodontics and Orthodontics in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan, and serves as Vice Chair of the local organizing committee for the 2027 International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (IAPD) Congress.

He is also Chair of the Public Relations Committee of the Japanese Society of Pediatric Dentistry (JSPD). His clinical and academic interests include early orthodontic intervention, the management of eruption disturbances, treatment of impacted and congenitally missing teeth, and temporomandibular disorders in children and adolescents. He graduated from Kagoshima University’s Faculty of Dentistry in 1998 and has contributed to professional literature on pediatric occlusion and early orthodontic treatment.
