Tanja Živanović

Dr Tanja Živanović earned her dental degree from the University of Belgrade, School of Dental Medicine in 2018, where she also completed a postgraduate speciality program in Periodontology and Oral Medicine. In 2023, she completed an ITI Scholarship at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, The Royal London Dental Hospital (London, UK), Centre for Oral Clinical Research (COCR), chaired by Prof. Nikos Donos.
She is currently employed at the Department of Periodontology and Oral Medicine, School of Dental Medicine, University of Belgrade, where she works as a clinical lecturer and specialist in periodontology and oral medicine. Alongside her academic and clinical work, she serves as an Honorary Research Fellow at the COCR, QMUL, actively collaborating on multicentre clinical studies between London and Belgrade.
Dr Živanović is also pursuing a PhD, focusing on hard- and soft-tissue regeneration around dental implants, especially bone augmentation and peri-implant tissue stability. She has shown strong dedication to scientific progress by taking part in the Osteology Foundation Research Academies in Gothenburg and London, as well as publishing and presenting research in the field of implant dentistry and peri-implant regeneration.
Dr Živanović is a member of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP), European Association for Osseointegration (EAO), and the International Team for Implantology (ITI).
