About
Dr. Lobna Alghazal distinguished herself as one of the top students at Benghazi University (UOB), where she completed her five-year dental degree. Following graduation, she gained valuable clinical experience over four years as a general dentist. Inspired by her mother and sister—both specialist periodontists trained at Trinity University—she chose to pursue a career in Periodontology, continuing a strong family legacy in the field.
In 2014, Dr. Alghazal successfully completed a rigorous three-year specialist training programme in Periodontology and Implant Surgery at Trinity University. She further advanced her professional credentials by obtaining Membership in Dental Surgery, followed by a Fellowship in Periodontology and Implant Surgery from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
In addition to her clinical achievements, Dr. Alghazal has contributed to academic dentistry, holding a teaching position at Trinity University for three years, where she was involved in educating both undergraduate dental students and dental hygienists.
Dr. Alghazal has worked across a wide range of general and specialist dental practices throughout Ireland, gaining extensive experience in both routine and complex periodontal care. She is the founder and owner of Keystone Periodontics, a multi-specialist practice dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
She remains actively engaged in her profession as a member of both the Irish Society of Periodontology and the European Federation of Periodontology.
